Well!  What can I say about myself?  If you've taken a look at my paintings you can see my interest in people through the portraits, beautiful things through the still lifes, and God's beautiful creation through the plein air paintings.  I've always been intersted in art, since I was about four or five years old, but it took another 40 years or so until I was able to fulfill my life long dream of going to art school.  In the fall of 2003 I began my studies at The Atelier in Minneapolis, MN, completing their four year program in 2007.  The Atelier is an excellent studio school which combines formal academic training with the influence of the French Impressionists.


My husband Dave and I are now back home in Washington state where I am currently concentrating on building up my portfolio, and improving my plein air skills.  We're also in the process of building our home which includes a studio.  I plan to offer classes and workshops when the studio is completed.
